1.  If you are riding in a roller coaster as in figure 2-8 , how do you think your speed is related to your kinetic energy?your potencial energy?

If i move , i'm producing kinetic energy and when the roler coaster is in the top of the base waiting to have spped enough to avance in the rest of the coaster

2.  As a roller coaster climbs to the top of the speepest hill on its track , when does the first car have the greatest potential energy? when does it have the greatest kinetic energy?

when it's on the top of the rail it's like static so it's potential energy . when the coaster is falling from that part that i was talking about in the first part of the question it has the most potential energy

3. State the law of conservation of energy in your own words.

It's like a easer thing for people to understand that you can not do anithing with energy , nor create it or destroy it

4.  You get up in the morning , get dressed , eat breakfast , walk to the bus stop , and ride to school . List the 3 different energy transformations that have taken place.

i have chemical energy ,  kinetic energy and potential energy.

5.  A pendulum swings seven times per minute . If the string were half as long , the pendulum would swing 10 times per minute. if the original length were twice as long ,  the pendulum would swing 5 times per minute . Make a bar graph that shows this data . Draw a conclusion from the results . if you need help , refer to making and using graphs in the skill handbook on page 757

pendulum swings               swings per minute

normal                                       7 times

string twice as long                    10 times

original twice as long                5 times
